A message from our previous chapter president

     The Indiana Beta chapter of Pi Beta Phi is based upon six core values including; integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others and sincere friendship. Whether in our day-to-day lives or through our constant philanthropic service to others, we strive towards our positive growth each day. The vision of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is to be recognized as a premier organization for women by providing lifelong enrichment to its members and contributing to the betterment of society. 

     The members of the Pi Beta Phi Chapter at Indiana University reach out to the community and the public in hopes to learn, grow, and enhance to their utmost capability. In the past year we have dedicated our time and resources to our philanthropy First Book by donating collected books to local schools and raising thousands of dollars through our annual philanthropy event Pi Burger Phi. During the fall we hosted our annual philanthropy, "Angels in the Outfield" to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This disease took the life of the mother of one of our Pi Phi sisters. Therefore, the members of Indiana Beta have used this inspiration as fuel with the hope of raising awareness of this disease. Along with philanthropic service, our chapter places a strong emphasis on leadership development and growth. Our members all stay active within our chapter while also being extremely involved around campus in countless organizations including Indiana University Dance Marathon, Panhellenic Association, Autism Speaks, Greeks Go Green, Women in Business, the National Honors Society and many more.

     Being a member of Pi Beta Phi means so much more than just the letters and sisterhood, it's a lifelong commitment of friendship and support to one another through the good and the bad. Pi Beta Phi continues to provide us with opportunities to learn and grow, and we hope to return that blessing to every member who walks through the doors of Indiana Beta.
